Dynamic, hard-edged sound and image from enterprising ensemble [rout] who take up residence at Livingstone's with a series of installations, video, performance and durational works mixing improvisatory, devised, notated and site based approaches to composition. An installed realisation of Michael Parsons' experimental classic Walk sits alongside works by laptop duo butterflyCut, Tom Hall and Rohan Drape— with film by Ratio, Sam Hayden, Alvin Lucier, Tim Parkinson, Mic Spencer, James Tenney, Paul Whitty, and La Monte Young.
