Cutting edge contemporary classical music in the BMIC 2005 concert series

about

Bmic's acclaimed concert series The Cutting Edge returns to The Warehouse with an exciting line-up of internationally renowned performers and new works.

The 15 concerts, held weekly throughout the autumn, provide a rich line up of commissions, contemporary classics and music from the best of Britain's younger generation, including composers on the Bmic 'Voices' schemes. Performers include outstanding soloists and ensembles from recent series as well as new performers - Trio Fibonacci, Crash Ensemble, decibel and Fidelio Trio.

We continue our close links with BBC Radio 3, who have regularly featured Cutting Edge events on their weekly new music programme, Hear & Now. This year The Continuum Ensemble, Stephen Gutman and the Soundings II concerts will be recorded for future broadcast.

Bmic's Cutting Edge is a must for anyone looking to discover fresh currents in today's music!
