Bmic welcomes visitors with disabilities to Lincoln House. Staff are always on
hand and will be happy to assist you.
There are no parking facilities available to Bmic visitors. However, nearby Hercules
Road and King Edward Walk (next to Morley College) both have metered parking
with a 2 hour maximum stay period.
We are situated on the first floor. There are three steps into the building and an
outwards-opening door at the top, with no ramp. A lift from the foyer is large
enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
The toilets are on the same floor as our office but there are no accessibility
features installed. There is no disabled toilet. Wheelchair users will require assistance.
Internal doorways to the Bmic library measure between 26.75 inches (68 cm)
and 31 inches (78.75 cm) wide when fully open, so wheelchair users may require
assistance.
We are happy to admit guide dogs.
For partially sighted visitors wishing to browse our database, we have a terminal
with an extra large monitor.
